Responsibilities

1. Oversee PAN India Business Development Operations:

  • In collaboration management, strategize and implement for an All India Business Development plan for our high-end PMR device.
  • Lead and manage the business development efforts across India to achieve the Sales Targets.

2. Team Leadership:

  • Hire, train and lead a high-performing business development team specialized in medical device sales across India as needed to achieve the sales targets.
  • Help the team to close deals.

3. Market Analysis and Expansion:

  • Analyze the PMR market trends across India and the globe to develop proactive strategies and tactics.

4. Budget Planning:

  • Develop and manage the annual budget for sales and business development activities.
  • Monitor expenditures against the budget, ensuring effective resource allocation, and make adjustments asnecessary to achieve financial targets.

5. Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as hospital managements,distributors, and government health departments.

6. Implement Tools and Software:

  • Based on the business requirement, deploy CRM and other automated tools for Business and Client management.

7. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, R&D, and operations teams to ensure alignment of business objectives.

8. Reporting:

  • Prepare and present regular business performance reports to the CEO / Managing Director, providing updates on business development activities, progress, and performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record of 15 to 20 years in medical device sales, with significant experience in high-end medical devices.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and managerial skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Skills: Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities.
  • Industry: In-depth knowledge of the medical device industry and market dynamics.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel across India, when needed.
