On February 2, 2025, India’s First Paediatric Robotic Gait Trainer, G Gaiter Paediatric, was launched at the Iqraa- Thanal Super Specialty Early Intervention Center in Kozhikode. G Gaiter Paediatric aims to enhance paediatric rehabilitation for those with mobility impairments by offering a more precise and effective approach to gait training.
The launch ceremony was inaugurated by M. P. Ahammed, Chairman of Malabar Group. Other esteemed dignitaries on this occasion included Dr. Mohammed Asheel, National Professional Officer at WHO India, Dr. Idrees V, Chairman of Thanal, Dr. Anver PC, Executive Director of IQRAA International Hospital & Research Centre, Afsal Muttikkal, Regional Director at Genrobotics Medical & Mobility, and Dr. Naveen Anaswara MPH, CPH, Kerala State Project Head for Communicable Diseases.
